Zenit Sankt Petersburg stopped Enea Zastal BC Zielona Góra on 52 points.  Russians showed the Euroleague offense and grabbed their 11th win.

Jordan Lloyd (21 points, his record in the VTB league) made four threes in the first quarter and as it turned out later, it was more than Enea Zastalu BC players made in the whole game - 3/20 for three. Enea Zastal returned to the game in the second quarter, after Tony Meier's points reduced the distance to three points.

The hosts were losing 18:21 and from that moment there was only one team in the CRS arena. Zenit quickly jumped to +15 to the game break, and after it he did not come down at all and increased the advantage. The guests showed an Eurolegue defense, in which there was no room for easy shots or open lay-ups. They shot  63% for 2 and 37% for three - they hit 11 out of 30 attempts beyond the arc. After the game, they could pose for funny photos.

In three days they will play another game in the VTB league against Tsmoki Minsk. Nemanja Nenadić, who is struggling with a slight injury, did not play in the team from Zielona Góra. Before the game, our training staff decided that there is no risk and that it is worth giving him a break before the matches in Lublin.

Oliver Vidin: Zenit played way better than us and deserved the win. In last two week we played seven games. That's a lot. Zenit had better efficence from three point shots and from two's. Permiter was for us a problem, we shoot only 15% today from three point line.

Xavi Pascual: I wish all the best to Zielona Góra in the cup. It was the game when we played seriously from the begining in offense and defense. We came to the game focused, and step by step, minute by minute we were playing better. This is way we got this important win. We have to go to Minsk with the same attitude.
