First win in VTB United League

Enea Zastal BC with the first win in 2021/2022 VTB United League season! Oliver Vidin’s team won a game against Tsmoki 96:64.

Fans that chose to spent Saturdays evening in CRS Arena were afraid of the result of this game only in the first quarter. During first ten minutes of the game we could see lead changes, and for sure we could name it a close run. Enea Zastal BC built their lead late in the first quarter and next minutes were even better for them.

Team from Zielona Góra increased their lead with every minute played. It’s worth to mention that they scored seventeen three pointers, just few days after game in polish league against GTK Gliwice, where they scored 19 three point shots. 

Though Zielona Góra win was a team effort, few players had great impact on game against Tsmoki. Nenadić scored 21 points, Meier added 17 and Frazier had 16 points and 7 assists.

- Very good game for us. This difference is maybe not realistic, but we put a lot effort and that's why I am satisfied. Except second quarter when we lost a little focus, other quarters were correct. I hope that we are going to continue this - said Oliver Vidin.
