Tough loss in Polish Cup 

Pszczółka Start Lublin defeated Enea Zastal BC Zielona Góra 82:81 in quarterfinals of Polish Cup. 

The team from Zielona Góra was already losing 43:55 in third quarter, but they managed to come back and lead to an exciting ending. In the last action of the regular game time, Andy Mazurczak showed a great defense and  blocked the pass from the Start players. In extra time Tony Meier scored his only points with a three point shot at 81:80 for the Zielona Góra players.

The hosts had one last action. In it, Mike Scott missed his shot, but the ball was rebounded and tipped by Jimmie Taylor, who was unstoppable for players in green jerseys. Pszczółka won deservedly and will play in the semi-final of the tournament with King Szczecin, who made up for 26 points and defeated Anwil Włocławek after extra time.
