UNICS Kazan (9-2) arrived to Zielona Góra as the leader of the standings. Enea Zastal BC (1-9) came to game on the last place with the 5-game losing streak.

In the first half Enea Zastal BC played one their best first halfs during this season. Hosts were winning 51:36 afer 20 minutes. Dragan Apic had outstanding first half with 12 points and 7 rebounds. 

– We started the game good, we played solid basketball for 25 minutes, later we couldn’t answer agresiveness of our opponent. We didn’t use opportunity to hit from outside and then scored few three pointers and that costed us a game - said coach Oliver Vidin after the game. 

UNICS didn't give up after first half. The guests exploded with two 3-pointers performed by Canaan and Vorontsevich, which gave them hope for a comeback. UNICS reduced the gap to an acceptable 6points before the final quarter. 

In the end, the hosts’ possesions, against the background of several turnovers and missed shots, began to fail, which allowed UNICS to make another run and take the lead 1:40 before the end – 80:78. In final 12 seconds Nemanja Nenadic had a chance to give Zielona Góra disired win, but his three pointer was short. UNICS won 85:80.
